Erika Slezak, who starred as Victoria Lord on “One Life to Live” on ABC, will be back on the “OLTL” reboot, which should begin shooting in mid-March, We Love Soaps reported on Thursday, Jan. 31.
Slezak was cast as Victoria, or Viki, Lord by creator Agnes Nixon when she replaced Gillian Spencer in March 1971, and played the role through the final episode of “One Life to Live” on January 13, 2012.
Erika Slezak posted a message to her website, letting fans know that she will be returning and that filming of the “One Life to Live” reboot should start shooting in mid-March.
“I am pleased to officially announce that, pending the final contract, I am joining the revival of One Life to Live which will be produced by Prospect Park and aired on Hulu and iTunes on the internet. We expect to begin production near the middle of March and the air dates are yet to be announced. This will be an exciting and groundbreaking adventure and we hope that you will join us as we bring back all the characters you loved and possibly some new ones. I will let you know when a firm air date is announced.”
In addition to Erika Slezak returning as Victoria Lord, Prospect Park previously announced that many of the former “One Life to Live” characters will return to the revival on Hulu and iTunes, including:
- Robin Strasser as Dorian Lord
- Tuc Watkins as David Vickers
- Robert S. Woods as Bo Buchanan
- Kassie DePaiva as Blair Cramer
- Jerry verDorn as Clint Buchanan
- Florencia Lozano as Tea Delgado
- Melissa Archer as Natalie Buchanan Banks
- Hillary B. Smith as Nora Buchanan
- Kelley Missal as Danielle Manning
- Josh Kelly as Cutter Wentworth
- Andrew Trischitta as Jack Manning
The recurring cast members of the “One Life to Live” reboot will include Sean Ringgold as Shaun Evans, Shenaz Treasury Rama Patel and Nick Choksi as Vimal Patel.
The writing team for the “OLTL” revival will include Jessica Klein, Alex Douglas and Jeff Wilber. Klein has previously been a head writer for “As the World Turns,” and an executive producer for “Beverly Hills, 90210. Alex Douglas has been a writer for USA Network’s “Royal Pains.”
