What could be more fantastic than Eric Stonestreet? Honestly, most nothing, except Eric Stonestreet as a talking, flying cartoon racehorse of "Sofia the First" according to the E Online Jan. 7 post. Fans of both "Modern Family" and the Disney Jr. show "Sofia the First" know how fantastic Ariel Winter is and now they get the chance to see these two cast mates work together again.
For those that haven't seen the Disney cartoon "Modern Family" star Ariel Winters plays Sofia, a princess that was made not born through marriage. Her stepfather gives her a special amulet that allows her to talk with animals, something she discovers in the first made-for-television movie that debuted in November. Now, Stonestreet is going to be one of those talking animals that Sofia can talk to.
Minimus, the character that Eric will be playing, is a purple flying racehorse who doesn't feel confident in being Sofia's racing partner. Because of Sofia's special ability the race will likely be a success. In past episodes of the show, Sofia has been a great confidence booster to her friends and the animal critters in her life.
It isn't mentioned whether or not Minimus will become a regular character of the show or if it's a one time episode, but fans are excited to see it.
