Eric Sharp & Sir DSS ft. Katxx - “And Work!”

Eric Sharp's latest release “And Work!”, co-produced with Sir DSS (feat. Katxx) is out now on Amazon and iTunes. The 9-track EP showcases exactly how Eric combines his early Chicago and New York house influences with a freshly refined sound that celebrates his organic view of life. While the Original Mix features drippy acid house synths and echoing vocals, each remix takes you on a journey with the sounds of Angger Dimas, NT89, RUN DMT, Grenier, Mirror Pop and more.

Through his multifaceted career, Eric Sharp has become one of the most accomplished tastemakers on the West Coast. While there is no genre barrier that can truly encase the type of noise he is currently playing and producing, Sharp cites his musical influences from early Chicago and New York house as his attention for dance music was initially captivated by the likes of Farley Jackmaster Funk, Green Velvet and Armand Van Helden.

As electronic music became more widespread in the US, Eric successfully retooled his focus from king of underground warehouse parties to major club residencies and festival performances at Coachella, Sundance, Outside Lands, Amsterdam Dance Event, Decibel Festival, SXSW, Symbiosis Gathering, Miami Music Week, Dim Mak Studios, Blow Up, and more. Combining his history of underground house music credibility with all of dance music's mainstream momentum, Eric Sharp is ripe for crossover.

Following the successful launch of his RIS Labs imprint (Rock It Science Laboratories) with New York's DJ Fame in 2010, to this day Eric stands behind his ambition to develop a platform for like-minded producers to lean on while also teaming up with other highly acclaimed underground labels. Recently Doorly released a remix of Sharp’s forthcoming single, “Let Me Down Easy” (feat. Whitney Fierce and Give In) as part of his compilation album on Mark Knight’s Toolroom Records.

In 2013, Sharp signed to Sean Glass' Win Music (home of Duke Dumont, Tiga, and more) where he released "Sharp Cuts" - one of his biggest EPs to date. Perfectly on point with the direction he has been heading, this music is not just for the clubs. This summer Mr. Sharp has a plethora of new releases coming out leading to a follow-up EP on Win that will make up the perfect soundtrack to take you from poolside to peak party time all season long.
