Bachelor Nation is shocked this morning to hear that Eric Hill has passed away. Viewers don't even know him yet, but he is on the upcoming season of "The Bachelorette" 2014 with Andi Dorfman. On Wednesday, Reality Steve took to Twitter to share the news that he has passed away. Eric's sister shared the news on Facebook. If you are curious why Chris Harrison said he was in critical condition on "The View," you can find out at this link.
Steve also went to his blog to share the news with fans and his thoughts on the passing. This show has lost contestants in the past, but never during the filming of the show. Eric was injured in a paragliding accident, in the hospital a few days in critical condition, and then news came out today that he passed away.
Eric died last night while in a Utah hospital. He was injured on Sunday in this accident. Eric sounds like an amazing man before he passed away. He may have not been the one for Andi Dorfman, but if you look up information on this guy you can't find a bad thing about him. He was also starring in his own documentary besides being on the show.
At this time, "The Bachelorette" has not even announced that Eric Hill is on the cast. It is unknown how they are going to handle this but they need to go ahead and let fans know he is on the show. Andi is still filming her season of the show and is not allowed to talk to the outside world. They might decide to let her know about this news or they may keep it from her for a while. Hopefully they handle it with respect and put it on television the right way.
Steve even spoiled that when Eric Hill leaves the show it is not in a normal way. He leaves right before a rose ceremony and not in a traditional manner. Steve will probably share this news soon. You can get to know more about Eric Hill here.
Eric Hill gets the first 1 on 1 date with Andi Dorfman this season. Fans will not want to miss getting to know him on "The Bachelorette" when it starts to air in May. Reality Steve will continue to share news on the show.
