Eric Church tour group to include extra travelers

Eric Church is scheduled to perform at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis on April 20th.  The concert, which brings Eric Church together with newcomer and fellow tough guy, Brantley Gilbert, will surely have country music fans talking for a long time.   Eric Church's in-your-face style coupled with the crowd-pleasing rowdiness of  Brantley Gilbert will make for a very exciting show.

If you happen to be around when Eric Church's tour bus pulls into town, however, you might find yourself with a very different perception of Eric Church.  Though the tour group is made up of all the usual roadies you'd expect, there is one very special traveler among them who gets his own VIP living quarters.

Behind Eric Church's tour bus is a hitched-up Airstream trailer that goes everywhere he goes.  While at first glance you might pass it off as being there to hold music equipment or serve some other official tour-related purpose, a peek inside would reveal a soft side of Eric Church that you might not expect.

The 16 foot trailer has been turned into a nursery for Eric Church's 4 month old son, Boone McCoy Church.  Since Eric Church became a proud papa on October 3, 2011, he has fallen in love with the little guy's smile.  So much so that it seems he doesn't want to be away from little Boone.

Eric Church's wife,  Katherine, travels with the tour, caring for Boone in the make-shift nursery while Eric performs on stage.  The arrangements allow Eric Church to be both country music star and daddy in these early months of his son's life when children change and grow so quickly.  In a business where so many artists are separated from their families for great lengths of time, it's commendable that Eric Church is doing all he can to keep his family together and strengthen the bonds between them.

Eric Church is committed to giving his fans a great show, but if ever you see a tiny bit of spit-up on his shirt, cut the guy a little slack.  After all, music endures but children are only little for a short time.
