Rising country star Eric Church will bring "The Outsiders World Tour" to Des Moines' Wells Fargo Arena on Wednesday, September 17 for a 7:30 p.m. show with tourmates Dwight Yoakam and Brothers Osborne. Church has piled up 34 major award nominations in the last 4 years, winning 3 ACM Awards, 1 CMA Award, 1 CMT Award, and 1 American Country Award. All 4 of Church's albums have reached the Top 10 on the Country chart, with 2011's Chief and 2014's The Outsiders both hitting #1 on both the Country chart and the Billboard 200. Church has 4 gold and 4 platinum/multi-platinum singles, two of which hit #1. Tickets to the concert are $25 to $59.50, and VIP packages are also available.
Des Moines pop rock queen Bonne Finken will perform at the Temple Theater in Des Moines on June 19 at 7:30 p.m. Finken was recently voted Des Moines' "Best Local Musician' by the readers of Cityview. She released her new album Fairytales/LoveAffairs on April 29 to overwhelmingly positive reviews. This album was the first of Finken's to be released to a national radio audience. Tickets to the performance are $17.50 to $37.50.
Reverend Raven & The Chain Smokin' Altar Boys will come to Des Moines on November 14 for a 9 p.m. show at the Gas Lamp. The Milwaukee-based blues band has been nominated for a Grammy and has won 9 Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards. The Reverend has opened for the likes of B.B. King, Junior Wells, Pinetop Perkins, The Koko Taylor Band, Magic Slim, and a host of others. No onsale date has been announced yet for tickets, but ticket prices have been listed at $10. This will be a 21+ event.
