Eric Bischoff brags of Impact's recent success, Takes a shot at online wrestling

The recent success of TNA Impact Wrestling has many within the company excited, which has spilled over to their social media pages. Joining Dixie Carter's Twitter exuberance was Eric Bischoff, who took it one step further by taking a shot at the online wrestling media websites. On Friday, October 21st, Bischoff made the following comments via his Twitter page about Impact's 1.35 rating this week:

"Ever notice how the shows that the dirt sites put over get the lowest ratings and the ones they bury get the highest? hmmmm."

Eric's love affair with the online wrestling sites has soured over the years. This was the guy who at one point used the sites to get over storylines on live TV. Does anyone remember his Mick Foley comments on WCW Nitro? Eric has taken a harsh stance with many wrestling news sites recently and has taken his shots whenever the opportunity presented itself. His comments from yesterday are no different.

Unfortunately, there are too many wrestling news sites out there now that perhaps Eric, and other critics, should be more specific of which ones they dislike. We are all not the same and we all place different values on how to report the news.

As for TNA, they scored one of the highest ratings in the company's history for Thursday's episode. Impact scored a 1.35 rating going up against the World Series and the Jersey Shore. The company has reason to be excited and so do the fans.
