Erasure’s Andy Bell will make a rare appearance at Numbers night club on Saturday, January 15, to DJ and perform songs from the Erasure catalog as well as his solo career. This appearance follows the release of Erasure’s new version of ‘A Little Respect,’ intended to raise awareness of bullying-related issues. Filmed in New York City’s Greenwich Village, the soon to be released music video features a youth chorus from The Hetrick-Martin Institute. Proceeds from the single benefit The Hetrick-Martin Institute and the True Colors Fund. Tickets for Andy Bell at Numbers are available now.
Arena dates for Erasure’s 2011 world tour have not yet been announced, but those wanting to see Erasure in a unique outdoor setting may want to begin planning their 2011 summer vacation. The duo of Vince Clarke and Andy Bell will be performing a special series of concerts in the forests of the UK. Billed as the Erasure Total Pop Forest Concerts and sponsored by the Forestry Commission of Great Britain, this unique tour will bring Erasure to seven woodlands locations between June 10 and July 1 of 2011. Hopefully, it won’t rain. Ticket information can be found at Erasure’s website.
