Equinox hosts exclusive celebrity basketball league games in Los Angeles (Photos)

E LEAGUE is a high profile, invitation only, celebrity basketball league comprised of movie stars, recording artists, directors, producers and Hollywood elite. Players are invited and placed on team rosters by the league’s commissioners and play over the course of a 13-week season. Games are held each Sunday at the Equinox Sports Club in West LA.

On Saturday, February 9th Equinox played host to a Grammy weekend E LEAGUE basketball game featuring musicians, producers, actors and athletes. Players included 3-time Grammy winner Nelly, Nick Carter of the multi-nominated Backstreet Boys, Mario, Terrell Owens (TO), J Valentine and Prophet. E LEAGUE 'all-stars' joined the game, including Josh Hutcherson (Hunger Games), James Lafferty (One Tree Hill), Jesse Williams (Grey's Anatomy) and Donald Faison (Scrubs).

In staying true to the Grammy-themed festivities, guests enjoyed cocktails by CIROC Vodka and were also the first to experience Playground Sessions. It was an exciting game fueled by fierce competition and an impressive performance on the court. If this is any indication of what is to be expected from E LEAGUE at large, it definitely lives up to its name, with entertaining games that are not to be missed.
