Based on a neutral black and white color scheme, pieces from the Maison Martin Margiela collection were paired with flat black knee boots that gave all the pieces just the right amount of dark, grungy edge. Standout pieces included black shorts that were fitted away from the body in a pouf effect, a fit that would be flattering for most body types. White fold jackets were paired over shift dresses, giving a clean silhouette line and very sophisticated day-to-night look. Draped over sized sweaters in fire-red tones were also paired with black boots, giving off a femenine comfy-sexy vibe. This collection was a great representation of New York style, complete with sophistication and blunt minimalism, a look that will remain timeless in fashion.
