'Episodes' catch up marathon leads to season three premiere on Showtime

The season three premiere of "Episodes" debuts on Sun., Jan. 12, 2014, so Showtime is airing the first two seasons in a marathon on Jan., 10, according to a media announcement emailed on Jan. 3. "Episodes" stars Matt LeBlanc as a fictionalized version of himself.

The comedy has already been renewed for a fourth season, according to an announcement made by David Nevins, President of Entertainment for Showtime Networks in Dec.. Showtime is committed to the comedy series, which is going back into production in 2014.

The "Episodes" marathon is on Fri., Jan. 10, from noon through 8 p.m. on Showtime. The previous episodes are also available on Showtime On Demand and Showtime Anytime.

The show airs new episodes on Sunday nights at 10 p.m. "Episodes" airs along with Showtime's Sun. night lineup, which includes "Shameless" and "House of Lies."

Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly (Tamsin Greig) are an English couple whose hit U.K. sitcom is remade for U.S. audiences and corrupted beyond recognition. The couple was estranged but is now back together, finding that old wounds can be tough to heal. Things get no easier for the series' star Matt (LeBlanc) this year as his career and ego continue to be pummeled.

New guest stars include Chris Diamantopoulos (24) in a season-long arc; Roger Bart (Revenge) appearing in four episodes as LeBlanc's agent; and Tracy Spiridakos (Revolution) as a family member of actress Morning Randolph.
