If having fun under the sparkling lights of Sin City is your goal, look no further than The LINQ Las Vegas. Since opening, it has quickly become one of the most exciting destinations for fun on The Strip. This 300,000 square-foot open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district is anchored by the High Roller, the world's largest observation wheel at 550 feet tall.

No trip down the strip is complete without sampling a few cocktails along the way. That is why Examiner.com recommends stopping by BLVD. Cocktail Company, The LINQ's feature hot spot for custom libations. BLVD. Cocktail Company is design-forward bar and lounge, specializing progressive cocktails. It also features live entertainment nightly, curated by Ben Carey from Lifehouse. Bands, centered around a baby grand piano in the center of the venue, play a variety of top 40s and special requests to get the crowd dancing.

Stepping through its doors, you will immediate notice how the environment seductively channels the spirit of a classically cool era when dapper gentlemen and glamorous women dressed up for a night on the town. Hovering just above the piano is a ‘cloud,’ a custom art installation by artist Gabriel Culp. Made from 14,000 light bulbs powered by LED lights, the ‘cloud’ showcases eye-catching visual effects, such as thunderstorm simulations, to accompany musical performances. BLVD. Cocktail Company also showcases an original art collection with surreal works by Marion Peck and Glenn Barr, among others.

The venue’s interior design is an eclectic mix of styles from a variety of eras. Regal shades of gold, bronze and metallic, Parisian-style chairs and booths covered in plush damask fabric set a luxurious tone. Millwork, hand-painted wallpaper and hand-carved doors nod to the late-19th century Arts and Crafts Movement, an era during which quality craftsmanship was greatly revered. Art deco lighting, antique mirrors and swan corbels add a layer of Hollywood glamour.

After a delightful taste test and a few jam sessions with the band later, Examiner.com has come to recommend the following cocktail creations:

Pirate Booty
2 oz. Bacardi Mango Fusion Rum
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
1 oz. Monin South Seas Syrup
