Rothenhausler, a 24-year-old who trains out of Team Alpha Male, was apparently ticked off by a post from hard-hitting knockout artist, Charmaine Tweet, who claimed that "The Heartbreaker" has absolutely no chance to beat her.
"@veronicafights @shanknapp @julesk_fighter the only place you might have a (punchers) chance is in your dreams," Tweet wrote on her official Twitter handle.
Rothenhausler (4-0 MMA, 1-0 Invicta FC) responded with a fiery zinger of her own.
"@notsosweetmma @shanknapp @julesk_fighter looks like you can't stop thinking about me. Good. I hope I'm in your nightmares too," she wrote.
Rothenhausler vs Tweet (4-4) would be a great fight on the upcoming Invicta FC 8 card that is slated for early-March in Kansas City, Missouri.
Invicta FC officials have not yet confirmed the matchup, but it would make perfect sense for the promotion's soon-to-be-formed 155-pound division.
Rothenhausler hasn't competed since Invicta FC 4, where she knocked out Katalina Malungahu in the opening frame.
"The Heartbreaker" is undefeated in four MMA fights, including four-straight first-round finishes.
As for Tweet, she won three of her past four, but lost via unanimous decision in her Invicta FC debut against Julia Budd.
