Epic snowstorm Nemo heads towards New York Fashion Week

Nemo is set to shake up New York Fashion Week. The Huffington Post reported on Feb. 8 that the epic snowstorm could threaten the runway shows in Lincoln Center. Snow has already begin falling this morning. A big blizzard is still on the way later this evening and into tonight.

Only a few fashion shows have been affected. Marc Jacobs announced on Twitter that he's rescheduling his fashion show to Thursday, February 14, also known as Valentine's Day. He was expected to show his designs on Monday, February 11. Unfortunately, Nemo could very well last into Monday.

Jacobs told Women's Wear Daily the reason for rescheduling his show is because of late deliveries. He hasn't received any fabric, handbags or shoes. Delivery won’t be expected until early next week because of the epic snowstorm.

More New York Fashion Week cancellations and postponements are expected throughout the day and the weekend. Snowstorm Nemo is reported to dump up to one foot or more of snow in New York City. This could cause massive power outages and traffic delays.
