Epic Fighting 8 at Four Points Sheraton Recap & Results

Epic Fighting 8 was held this past Friday at the Four Points Sheraton in San Diego, CA. The event market Epic Fighting's second colloborative event with the California State Amatuer Championship tournament and the event delivered.

Over the last few months Epic Fighting and amatuer San Diego MMA has seen a steady growth. There are more fans at the events, more media professionals, celebrity appreances by the likes od Dean Lister, Joe Duarte, and Phil Davis, and the overall quality of the event has continued to increase.

The level of competition has also risen at these events, as the best developing amatuers have made their way through the tournament and fought better and better competition. Some of this evening highlights included two submissions, a technical knock out, and a devastating knock win by Brian Pate in the fifth fight of the night.
