Look Ma, no brains! An epic Corvette failure just occurred as a newb owner attempts to do a power brake burnout with his C6 Corvette. Resulting in catastrophic failure of epic proportions, the complete mockery of common sense was caught on tape. Starting out with a grandiose idea that comes standard with Corvette ownership, the newb approaches his vehicle to burn some rubber. He burnt something alright, but it wasn't rubber! Smoke starts pouring out of the vehicle, but yet the tires stay completely still. How could this be? There's only one other component that can slip and burn under RPM pressure, and that's the clutch. Yep, this epic Corvette failure is a clutch burnout. Check out the articles below to see the proper method of a burnout. It does not involve burning the clutch!

Burnouts aren't that hard to do with a manual, but if you don't know how to drive a stick or lack pure common sense they can be tough. The proper way to do a burnout with a stick is the complete opposite of what this guy did. He held the brake and feathered the clutch when he should have feathered the clutch until the gear grabbed, and then held the brake while taking the foot off of the clutch. Removing the foot from the clutch is the key step in this manifest of what can be near rocket science for some. Honestly, this car has enough power to just turn off traction control and floor it, letting them burn in the trademark Corvette rolling burnout; no braking needed.

But it gets better! To top things off, there is a guy standing around in a mechanic outfit that just lets this chaos continue and can't recognize the smell of burnt clutch. Wow, some people just don't get it. Then when they realize something has gone wrong, he pops the trunk instead of the hood. Of course he'll find the cure in the trunk, classic! Maybe you should read the owner's manual before attempting any "advanced" techniques. Enjoy this epic failure at the expense of the owner and the poor Corvette. What did this vehicle do to deserve this owner? Great job dude, you are now known as the worst Corvette owner in history.

What a f@cking tool! I hope this guy kills himself after being ridiculed by anyone who knows him. Seriously how do people that retarded make enough $ to own a new Z06. Just pull the trigger sir and save the driving for people with an IQ of greater than 60 ;)
epic failure is more like epic tard lol. this is why tools who can't drive should start out with a fwd turd and blow that up instead of ruining a perfectly good car
OMG, that was epically stupid...and damn funny too. Poor car. It is not going to live long with that owner.
