Epic civil war film 'Lincoln' leads nominations at 70th Annual Golden Globes (Photos)

It's time for the 2013 awards season to begin as TV and film collide at the 70th Annual Golden Globes tomorrow on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. on NBC with hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to deliver a new comedic edge to the show after comedian Ricky Gervais had hosted the show over the past three years.

The epic civil war film "Lincoln" leads the pack with seven nominations. Actor Daniel Day Lewis is likely to pick up the "Best Actor" award for his portrayal of President Lincoln. Other actors in "Lincoln" include actors Sally Field and Tommy Lee Jones for Best Supporting Roles in a Motion Picture" with Director Steven Spielberg nominated as Best Director for the film.

Other best picture nominees are "Argo," "Les Miserables," "Django Unchained," "Zero Dark Thirty," "Lincoln," "Life of Pi," "Moonrise Kingdom," "Silver Linings Playbook," "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" and "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen."

In the favorite TV drama category, "Homeland" is a favorite with "Game Change as a frontrunner in the TV-movie/miniseries category.

Robert Downey, Jr. will also be on hand to present Jodie Foster with the Cecil B. DeMmille Award joining past recpents such as Steven Spielberg, Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra and Walt Disney.
