Charlotte, NC- Setting their live instruments free and taking on a new electronic flavor, EOTO will be blowing the roof off of Neighborhood Theatre on Saturday, April 7th. The duo moves effortlessly from choppy dubstep to whip-smart, four-on-the-floor house to psychedelic trip-hop. It’s a dance marathon, but everyone is in it together. General Admission tickets are $15. Doors open at 8:30PM and the show will begin with Kraddy at 9PM.

The band, EOTO formed in 2006 as a side project to The String Cheese Incident. They played their first show at Sonic Bloom in May of 2006 and by 2008 they were playing over 200 shows a year. As electronic influences continue to penetrate the live rock, jazz, and jam ethos, one band consistently rises to the top, bringing together fans from across the musical spectrum. Throbbing bass and thudding beats are the signature of this project from drummers Michael Travis and Jason Hann. Born out of their shared love of electronic dance music, EOTO’s M.O. is to take the free-wheeling party vibe of a DJ set to the next level by using organic instruments, innovative performance technology, and uncharted musical exploration. Live drums, guitars, keys and vocals are mixed, remixed and sampled on the fly using cutting-edge programs. The duo starts fresh every night, basing their set largely on the energy of their crowd. They have released three studio albums: Elephants Only Talk Occasionally (2006), Razed (2008) and Fire the Lazers!!! (2009), all of which have the same process as their live performances, completely improvised and in one take.

Accompanying EOTO is the Los Angeles based solo artist, Kraddy who has always brought the undiluted sound of the underground to new audiences. From his work as a founding member of the infamous Glitch Mob to his groundbreaking solo work, Kraddy has always been known for shattering genre conventions while moving crowds at venues as epic as Red Rocks.
