In an age of prerecorded performances and cookie cutter sound, EOTO stands apart as an imaginative and amazing band. Formed in 2006 by Michael Travis and Jason Hann, EOTO perform hundreds of live shows a year: all through improvisation. Originally set to play the Mishawaka Amphitheatre, due to road closures from the devastating floods in Colorado the show has been moved to the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, Colorado. In addition, proceeds from the event will benefit the Colorado Flood victims. EOTO will be performing on Saturday, September 21, 2013.
Many fans wonder how EOTO improvises such amazing music. The duo performs at Apple Stores throughout the country to demonstrate how they create their unique sound. Utilizing such software as Ableton Live and Propellerhead, they are able to produce much of their music live through MacBook Pro computers.
As EOTO is originally from Boulder, Colorado, they are donating proceeds from their show this weekend to benefit the recent flood victims. Boulder was hard hit in the recent tragedy along with many other portions of Denver and the surrounding areas.
If you are looking for a unique and fun experience and an opportunity to give back, make sure to check out EOTO’s show on Saturday 21, 2013, at the Aggie Theatre. For more information about EOTO please visit their website. To purchase tickets please www.aggietheatre.com or stop by Rock N Robins.
