Envisioning Louisiana - a free concert this Wednesday at St. Louis Cathedral (Photos)

Even though New Orleans is currently abuzz with both Carnival Season and the upcoming Super Bowl, there are still other things to do here as well; events that are a little less frenzied, if you will.

On Wednesday, January 23, come celebrate Louisiana's classical music heritage for Envisioning Louisiana, a free concert to be held at St. Louis Cathedral.

Presented by The Historic New Orleans Collection and the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and conducted by Carlos Miguel Prieto, Envisioning Louisiana features the composers and musical works inspired by Louisiana's natural history. Performers include: Mark Beudert, tenor, Janet Daley Duval, speaker,Valerie Francis, soprano, Sameul Liégeon, organ, Joseph Meyer, violin, and Misook Yun, soprano.
