It's not uncommon to see the Miami Beach skyline littered with airplane advertisements promising parties with the rich and famous. However now, there is an advertisement that gives beach goers the opportunity to co-star with silver screen celebrities. Entourage the movie is casting in Miami for extras.
The HBO comedy signed off on September 11, 2011, setting the stage for the Vincent Chase, Ari Gold and the gang to make their big screen debut. Rumors have been circulating for months that cast members have kept the film in limbo due to contact negotiations but actor Jerry Ferrara, who played Turtle on the show, negated the rumors on a recent visit to Access Hollywood. While he remained mum on the details of the shoot, he promised that the film would be a return to the lighthearted days that originally made Entourage a success.
"We're going to kind of throw it back to like the earlier seasons of the show," said Ferrara. "Just the guys with the guys—just all apart of each other's story, you know."
The film will be casting beautiful men and women with the "60 sexiest beach bodies" on Tuesday, January 7, for a party scene on a 220 ft yacht. To attend, simply "like" the E11evn Miami facebook page to register for the event and show up at 7 p.m. to see if you've got what it takes to party with the Entourage gang.
In the meantime, keep up in the latest Entourage news by following the film and show creator Doug Ellin on twitter at @entouragemovie and @mrdougellin, respectively. The film itself has no official release date but filming begins mid-January.
