Entertain while awaiting the Money Tree

The weather is changing and so are our options for entertainment. While Utah residents consider themselves unique in family orientation, sometimes affording activities is daunting, especially while kids don't recognize money doesn't grow on trees. If it did, having them rake in the fall would be a no-brainer. But still it brings us back to priding ourselves in family orientation without funds to do it regularly. Do not despair as the answer is here, even on a budget.

Monday night is a great time for spending family time together as the weekend traffic is gone and the Utah Museum of Natural History has free passes on occasion. You can check it out the October passes here -- http://nhmu.utah.edu/?q=visit/tickets. And if it's another night you are feeling up for family time, make a pizza and rent a couple of flicks from Redbox. The whole night is a family of entertainment for less than $10, and you can't beat that one.

In addition to Utahans having an abundance of family, we are also ingenious in the creativity department. With weather cooling off, but not enough for skiing, it's the perfect time to start saving money for holiday fun. What a perfect way with museums away from home, and movies in the home. You can also check out the new site describing low-budget films through Redbox at http://myredboxreview.wordpress.com/2013/09/28/escape-from-planet-earth/. Go ahead and entertain your family while waiting for that dime in the backyard to sprout.
