A movie you’re likely to hear a lot about in the months to come – 'Enough Said' – was filmed in Los Angeles, but that’s not what people will be talking about.
People will likely chat it up because ‘Enough Said’ was one of James Gandolfini’s last works before his untimely demise in June 2013, at the way-too-young age of 51.
Gandolfini’s contributions to television, movies and his friends were succinctly appreciated by Edie Falco at last night’s Emmy Awards show. If you didn't watch the show, click the link. I promise: the two-minute video isn't a waste of time.
And, if reviews from the film’s recent TIFF screening and the September 16 New York City premiere are to be trusted, people will also be talking about how 'Enough Said' showcases and even celebrates our human foibles.
Something tells me Mr. Gandolfini would have taken pleasure in exiting on such a charming and positive note.
‘Enough Said’ opened on September 18 in New York and Los Angeles and will expand to around 200 locations on September 27.
You should definitely keep it on your radar. I suspect it may even be a hot topic during awards season.
