Magic City Choral Society Presents Make We Merry - One Last Jingle Before the Holidays!

What to expect: Men’s and Women’s choruses featuring Guest Soprano Emily Herring, Artistic Director Dr. Joseph Paul Dease and Accompanist Ty Thornton.
The Magic City Choral Society is a 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to offering adult choral education and inspiring choral performance to as wide a public as possible.
December Red Tent Temple
Time: Thursday, Dec. 17, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Location: Books Beans and Candles Metaphysical Shoppe. 1620 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd S. Birmingham, AL 35205
Frequency: Third Thursday of every month
What to expect: Red Tent Temple (RTT) is a place for women to care for and be cared for by other women. Join RTT in sharing the trials, triumphs, accomplishments and shortcomings common to all women. Find strength in yourself and others in a sacred space. The women of RTT create a sacred space with song, meditation, story telling, healing touch, journaling, rest, teas and sharing together. This is not a faith-based event. All women are welcome regardless of religious preference.
Zoolight Safari at the Birmingham Zoo
Time: Dec. 18 - 23 and Dec. 26 – 30, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Location: Birmingham Zoo, 2630 Cahaba Road, Birmingham, AL 35223
Admission: $7 for non-members, free for members
