Long Beach knows how to party and Super Bowl Sunday is no exception to the rule. There are Super Bowl parties being held in bars and restaurants all across the city.
At The Market Place, at the intersection of 2nd Street and Pacific Coast Hwy., Super Bowl celebrants can attend game festivities at either The Tilted Kilt or the Claim Jumper, or both if they are really in a partying mood.
The Claim Jumper will hold happy hour all day long on Super Bowl Sunday. Happy Hour includes an array of appetizers from $2.00 for Bottomless Chips and Salsa to $7.00 for Widow Maker Burger bearing hand-battered onion rings, double thick cheese, avocado, red relish, smoked bacon, and mayo.
As for beverages, Claim Jumper has two different premium draft beers at $4.00 a pint, a selection of cocktails, also at $4.00 each, and a selection of wines at $5.00 a glass.

The Tilted Kilt, a Long Beach sports pub with a Scottish theme, is charging a $10.00 cover charge for their Super Bowl event. The charge includes one complimentary well drink or one 14 ounce domestic draft. There will be prizes and giveaways all through the game. One of the prizes is a pair of sneakers personally autographed by Kobe Bryant who delivered them to the Tilted Kilt this week. The Tilted Kilt also has a great appetizer menu including Irish Nachos (freshly made potato chips covered with cheese sauce, seasoned ground beef, and tomatoes) and Roasted Garlic Fries.
