Enjoy the scent of chocolate when you're setting the mood (Photos)

Typically the articles here bring you information and insight into a plethora of chocolate edibles but on occasion we're lucky enough to come across so fantastic non-edible chocolate items to share.

On a random visit to a Dollar Tree at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Queens Chapel Road in Maryland I found myself wandering through the candy aisle hoping to find something to satisfy my chocolate craving. While I did not find anything to my liking I did come across something else - a truffle shaped candle. Of course when I saw this I had to pounce.

The candle appears to be well made considering it only cost $1.00. You can smell the chocolate through the box. It is reminiscent of Hershey's chocolate syrup. When lit the candle lets off a very chocolatey fragrance that is not too overwhelming.

Being that it is only $1.00 and sold by the Dollar Tree it is probably something that was discontinued or simply produced cheaply overseas and distributed by a domestic importer. The labeling only mentions a local distributor named Greenbriar International, Inc.

I'd strongly suggest going by your local Dollar Tree and trying to pick one up. While you can't eat it it will definitely fit into any chocolate lovers collection or all things chocolate and wonderful.
