The Edison Point Loop hiking trail is a beautiful hiking trail. The hiking trail is just outside of Pine Flat Lake. The hiking trail is located near Sanger. The hiking trail is a short drive from Fresno and if you want to grab hiking snacks there are many places to go grab the hiking snacks in Sanger. The hiking trail gives you amazing views of Pine Flat Lake. The hiking trail gives you amazing views of sloping meadows. The hiking trail also gives you beautiful views of wildflowers. If you go during the Spring the hiking trail views are amazing. The hiking trail gives you amazing views of oak trees and other woodland plants. The hiking trail takes you through wilderness and more. The hiking trail also gives you amazing views of the lake. However it can be a tough hiking trail not because of obstacles but because of the elevation and the elevation change. The hiking trail is about two and a half miles. The hiking trail is a loop so you do not see the same scenery over and over. The hiking trail can easily be completed in 2 hours. Many can finish the hiking trail within 1.5 hours. If you are extra quick you may be able to finish this hiking trail even quicker. The hiking trail is part of Sierra National Forest. The hiking trail is located in the Edison Point Loop area in Pine Flat and on the topographic map for that area. The hiking area is frequented by mountain bikes so you do need to watch out. Be careful because sometimes the hiking trail can get a bit crowded. Also the mountain bicyclists can go quick on the hiking trail at times so you do need to keep your eyes open.
As you are hiking be aware of your surroundings. You can often see amazing birds in the air. Additionally it is common to see squirrels and other wildlife as you are hiking. Typically I find the animals get out of your sight quickly. However if you are quiet as you are hiking you can sometimes see amazing views and really learn a lot as you are hiking.
