One thing to be grateful for while traveling is the opportunity to enjoy nice meals out.  But it can be difficult to miss a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Luckily, travelers who will be in the Atlantic City area on Thanksgiving day don't have to worry about this.  They can enjoy a bountiful Thanksgiving buffet at the historic Smithville Inn

The Inn, located in the Historic Towne of Smithville, offers a tradition of hospitality that dates back to 1787.  Just a few minutes drive from Atlantic City, it was recently voted the "Best Off Shore Restaurant" by Atlantic City magazine.

This year, the Inn will be open from 11 AM until 7 PM, and will offer a buffet that features all of the traditional Thanksgiving foods such as turkey, stuffing, roasted red bliss potatoes, sweet and mashed potatoes, steam ship of beef and strip steak as well as salad, pasta, bread and more.  Deserts will include treats such as pumpkin pie, fruit cobbler and cookies.

The cost of the buffet is $32.95 per person; half for children ages 4 to 11.  It's first come first serve -- reservations will only be taken for groups of 10 or more.

Tip:  There will be less of a wait closer to 11 AM.  If there is a wait, take a stroll through the Towne of Smithville.  With more than 60 shops to browse in, it will be easy to get started on your holiday shopping.
