Blair Valley is a beautiful and flat dirt area in the Anza Borrego State Park. This area allows people to go camping on the clear areas taht are around the dirt roads. The great thing about this area is the abundant hiking trails around. There are some archeological sites to that you take walking paths to. Hiking during the summer gets extremely hot so it is recommended to go hiking here during the Spring, Winter, or Fall. The drawback of this area is that there is minimal cell phone coverage and depending on your phone and location there may be absolutely no phone coverage when you are camping or hiking here.
When you are hiking there are ample opportunities to climb boulders for more fun and great photo opportunities. There is also a cool seasonal waterfall along on of the hiking trails just past the pictographs and at the end of this beautiful hiking trail is a open scenic point. You can view the valley below and take amazing photos here. It is located just off of the Southern Overland Stage Rout.
