A Boston bistro is offering its version of Le Tour de France beginning in late February. This culinary celebration of the famed French bicycle race will run through July 2012, when the actual Tour de France takes place. The Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro is featuring this one of a kind “Culinary Tour Around France” with a prix fixe menu showcasing a variety of regions in France, every Monday through Thursday evening.

During the Le Tour de France – Bistro Style, diners can enjoy menus showcasing the cuisine of particular region in France.

Boston is known for its fine dining, with New England area seafood and Italian fare the regional specialities. However, there are not many great dining experiences for Francophiles. So, this special culinary series presented by the Beacon Hill Hotel Bistro honoring the Tour de France may be worth a taste.

The dining experiences at The Beacon Hill Bistro will include references to specific Tour de France riders and will highlight the stages of specific regions of the Tour de France. This year’s Tour will focus on the exploits of the legendary Eddy Merckx.

To make this special dining event even more authentic, as the weather
grows warmer, diners are welcome to wear their bicycling outfits to dinner.

Beacon Hill Hotel Le Tour de France menus will change every two weeks

The menu will change every two weeks and offer diners the choice of a two course menu
for $33.00 or a three-course menu for $39.00 (tax and gratuity not included), in addition to the regular menu.
