El Segundo Museum of Art presents Movie Night: The Impressionists on Saturday, March 1 from 7 to 10 p.m.

ESMoA will project The Impressionists, a mini-series that tells the intimate history of a most illustrious brotherhood of Impressionist artists Monet, Degas, Renoir, Cezanne and Manet.

“Entirely based on documentary evidence, special effects transport the viewer inside some of the world’s best-loved paintings. The Impressionists recreates the illuminated landscapes and haunting portraits of late 19 century France.” Granada International

Prior to the screening, guest are invited to participate in a discussion of Experience 09: SILENCE, which features works by Monet and Manet, with an educator.

Afterward, enjoy the film and FREE popcorn! Bring your own chair, blanket, or pillow.

As always, admission is FREE!

ESMoA is the brainchild of Eva and Brian Sweeney – she an architect, he an entrepreneur – and together, passionate collectors who have supported the arts through their Los Angeles/Berlin-based private art initiative artlab21 Foundation.
