Do you have a kid who loves to use their imagination and create amazing works of art? What about spending hours coloring pictures? Or maybe they are interested in things that glow or putting together puzzles? Then you should bring them to an amazing place called Kaleidoscope!
Kaleidoscope is a great, free place to spend a few hours letting your creative juices flow. Hallmark Cards donates all of their leftover materials after production so that children can come and use them to create masterpieces. The can design their own puzzle picture and cut it out and bring it home for extra hours of fun putting it together. Enjoy out of this world fun with glow in the dark markers or melted crayons to create something truly extraterrestrial. Or maybe they would like playing on light walls with the Glow Doodle!
Come and be a part of one of their 40 minute long family art sessions. Be prepared to spend some time there because it is first come first served for the sessions since they are free, and once they are full you have to wait for the next one. Don't worry though, because if you have to wait, just meander on over next door to the Hallmark Visitor's Center. Walk through and see the history of Hallmark and the different series of ornaments. Speaking of Christmas, ever wonder how they make their bows? Well, now you find out and bring home your very own little bow as a souvenir from your visit.
To plan a really fun day, please visit their calendar to find out when they have their family art sessions.
