Here's a way to spend a fun Fall evening in the country at an entertaining family-friendly event. Just attend the 5th annual Hometown Hoe-Down in Middlefield, Ohio in the heart of Northeast Ohio Amish country on Saturday, September 28.
Hometown Hoe-Down Hosted by Geauga County Tourism, the Hometown Hoe-Down (taking place at the Middlefield Market) offers an evening filled with country music, dancing and hearty mouth-watering food. The event will also have The Beer Saloon ( a cash beer bar).
Visitors will be able to dine on a delectable BBQ Buffet dinner from Blazin' Bill's restaurant and then enjoy a square dancing demonstration and a country music performance by Whiskey Courage that will surely get you up and dancing.
Other activities at the Hometown Hoe-Down include a 50/50 raffle, a wine pull, a live pie auction, contests, games, cornhole and one event you won't want to miss -- a Cow Plop Drop.
The Market will also be offering pumpkins and mum plants for sale.
Hours for the Hometown Hoe-Down are 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 28. Admission is $20 per adult person and $10 for children (4-11). Parking is free.
