Join the North Redondo Beach Business Association and Blue Zones Project at the inaugural WalkAbout Redondo on Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This family friendly event encourages residents, tourist and business owners to stroll Artesia Boulevard and meet local business owners in a fun and casual atmosphere.
Walk or ride your bike to eat, play or shop at the many restaurants and businesses along one of Redondo’s main business corridors.
The afternoon will culminate with a community-wide barbeque.
Sign in to receive your Walkabout Redondo passport from 10 a.m. to noon. Visit local businesses to get passport stamps and then receive a free BBQ lunch when you present your completed passport.
Participants may sign up at one of three locations:
• Redondo Beach Parks & Recreation Parking Lot – 1922 Artesia Blvd.
• Green Belt Walk Way, South Side – 2500 Block of Artesia Blvd.
• Clark Adams Windows Parking Lot – 2411 Artesia Blvd.
For each passport with 10 or more ‘stamps’, the participant will receive one lunch ticket. Participants may turn in their passports at the BBQ up until 2 p.m.
Starting at noon, a BBQ lunch will be served at the Redondo Beach Parks & Recreation parking lot located at 1922 Artesia Boulevard.
If participants are unable to visit 10 businesses, a $5 donation for each lunch ticket is requested.
