Originally R&D had planned to reprint the Innistrad enemy checklands Clifftop Retreat, Hinterland Harbor, Isolated Chapel, Sulfur Falls, and Woodland Cemetery. Between the Shocklands and the Scrylands though, they felt that "too many lands were entering the battlefield tapped, and it was again having a negative impact on the aggressive decks." That's why the enemy painlands will be reprinted.

When talking about the new City of Brass variant Mana Confluence, there was a quote which made us suspect that the Enemy Fetchlands would be featured soon. We've known since PAX East that the fetchlands were to be reprinted "at some point," however it was a question of when and where.

According to Stoddard: "It probably won't come as a surprise for you to find out that Khans of Tarkir has a cycle of dual lands...I can't tell you anything about the Khans of Tarkir cycle of dual lands yet, but I can tell you that they will make an impact on Standard."
