Local triathletes will get a chance to learn and practice new mental conditioning skills at a free clinic at Endurance House Westminster on Wednesday, January 29, at 630 P.M. Triathlon coach and author Will Murray will lead an interactive session to give athletes new tools to address motivation, discipline, race tactics and recovery.
This clinic is aimed at the Endurance House Redefine Your Possible Tri Team, but is open to the public at no charge. According to Endurance House President Jim Wnorowski, “The Endurance House team is a program designed for regular people looking to redefine themselves by accomplishing something that may, at first, feel impossible. We provide them a training program for Iron distance, 70.3 & Olympic distances, an Endurance House tri race kit, camaraderie, and store discounts. It is a great group of people!”
The mental skills clinic will give athletes a chance to learn and practice key mental skills, including addressing negative inner voices, maximizing motivation to propel workouts and using your head in race situations. These techniques are fast, easy, durable and effective.
