I've been giving away tickets each week to the Gathr film series, at the Maple Theater (Bloomfield Hills), and the giveaways continue this week with The Other Shore.
The film will be playing on Tuesday, October 8th, at 7:30pm.
Film synopsis: One woman sets out to prove that will and determination can make the unimaginable possible. The Other Shore tracks legendary swimmer Diana Nyad’s lifetime vision and four harrowing attempts to swim non-stop from Cuba to Florida. A complex past collides with an obsessive present over a dangerous 60-hour feat never before accomplished.
