Orson Scott Card’s popular novel “Ender’s Game” documents Ender Wiggin’s (Asa Butterfield) role in an interplanetary war against the Buggers. The youngest of three in the Wiggin family, six year old Andrew “Ender” Wiggin is enrolled in Battle School, a school created out of an alliance between the Polemarch, the Strategos, and the Hegemon--Earth’s ruling parties--to find, and test Earth’s children with the most strategic minds.
If the weight of a third alien invasion isn’t enough for Ender to carry, he also has to deal with his brother, Peter (Jax Pinchak), who is obsessed with his own ambitions at everyone else’s peril, and like the I.F. (International Fleet), in the form of Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford), has his own agenda concerning Ender’s welfare.
But for Valentine (Abigail Breslin), Ender’s sister, Ender would have left battle school and the war effort for good…being that the ones who keep him in their crosshairs are the very ones he should be able to trust with keeping his life.
