There is not anyone that will honestly admit they do not like scoring a good deal. Finding a pair of shoes at 75% off their original price is kind of like Christmas morning. There are a lot of places where we can find such deals, like department stores having seasonal or biannual sales, stores like TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Burlington and Nordstrom Rack, and of course there are also locations like thrift stores, garage sales and antique shops where we can find fab treasures.
In Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood, Encore, located at 1553 E. Hyde Park Boulevard, showcases a variety of treats for any fashion lover. Despite being a thrift store it does not include that characteristic smell of typical thrift shops. "Thrift store," does not usually conjure excitement or the best thoughts, but if you check this place out, you will be pleasantly surprised. It is a small location but includes a large selection of well organized items in great condition. So if you're looking to get the most you can for your buck, make a visit to Hyde Park and stop in at Encore.
