Evan Farris was born in 1977 with what was then termed “severe mental retardation.” Evan now lives at an enAble of Georgia residential group home and has a fulfilled life. His mother, Peggy Farris, credits enAble with his progress. The organization, based in Roswell, has provided a wide range of services to hundreds of persons with special needs in Metro Atlanta for more than 30 years. Its mission is to support people with special needs so they may lead fulfilled lives – physically, intellectually, and socially.
enAble has recently announced that the donations received through its foundation’s 25th Annual “Dare to Dream” Gala, scheduled for March 2, 2013, will fund exciting new initiatives to serve high school students and young adults with disabilities.
