I went into the Marriott downtown in search of some information, with the idea that the concierge there may be able to assist with information I received from someone about an event that may be happening. At that moment, I was feeling uncertain since our previous locations I thought the event would be at turned out to be wrong. Of course, when I entered and shared with the concierge, they not only were unable to come up with a solution, they actually laughed at me as I left for asking for assistance in this situation. My mouth went dry as I held back the tears, realizing as I walked out that I still had vibrational perceptions of myself not being competent. The concierges were only responding to the energy that I was projecting to them. Since generally I get such great attention and service at the Marriott hotels, I knew this had to be true.
Receiving a message from the Universe to confirm that I am more powerful than I was feeling in the moment, Katy Perry's song "Roar" played on the radio.
Being aware of this, though, I could allow myself to acknowledge the feelings as residue from previous vibrations that hadn't yet been cleared. Then I "tapped" on it and my feelings began to improve.
Stopping that the Rolling Oats grocery store to get something to drink, I received better results from the cashier. He had actually heard about the event, but didn't know where it was, either. He did, however, give information of a shop that sold products that related to that event.
My vibration improved even more when I got home after taking a few minutes to lay down and decompress. Then my inner warrior awoke decided to do something to create even more empowerment.
I decided to build a bookcase with my youngest daughter. The time we shared was a priceless treasure and when we were done, we had a bookcase to store all of our training materials and books on.
I share this story to illustrate the power of thoughts and feelings and how thoughts and feelings can change by making an empowered choice to improve. Changes don't need to be immediate and drastic. Often, it they're too big to change immediately because of beliefs that have been engrained for so long. Progressive steps in the right directions will ultimately always lead to better results.
Find a way to feel better in every moment. Channel the inner warrior that won't give up. Falling down is okay, but warriors always get up and don't stay down long.
