Employment: The problem with federal bureaucrats

Do you know what the problem is with federal bureaucrats; they decided not to trust Congress to give them support. Realizing a long time ago those being voted into public offices were not helpful, the federal employees started a union to protect themselves and the public. Part of the problem of an every growing bureaucracy, is how to pay for even more centralized controls Congress demands. Controlling all of this it the major point, for the ones who do control regulations interpreted by the federal government. The ability for individuals to be willing and able to speak out insures the responsibility from those in authority. And the same are have not allowed the truth to be know in the past, they most certainly will not in the future.
Bureaucrats are needed to help fill out forms and provide the public with information about what is happening in our government. The more we want organization, the more we need those who can do the paperwork to get the system moving in the right direction. But this means labor expense, the one consistent expense all organizational management wants to decrease, as it is variable to the amount of time used. The longer one seeks to organize and the more organization called for, the higher this expense becomes. Congress adds legislations all the time, therefore it is certain more record keeping and reports are also needed.
Over time federal bureaucrats have realized they needed protections, this to keep up with congressional demands and protections Congress was never going to give. The federal employee union provided standards and support for the operations of government, including informing the public about the political misgivings, all improved governmental operations. Providing public assurances of being represented fairly and openly, so long as the political agendas did not interfere, this leaves individuals to guide their own lives. But pushing an agenda comes from the few wanting more control; any resistance to this ideology they feel must be removed. Removing the federal employees by outsourcing to contractors, has only allowed reimbursements for wages to skyrocket.
The bureaucracy problems are always the same, the need to process information remains, with contractors doing this supposedly at cheaper costs. But as reimbursements of wages and salaries are on the rise, one has to wonder how these costs are achieved, except to lower the wages paid to employees. The difference then is contractors pay less for the same service, but bill at an every increasing rate so fewer employees do the same work. The federal workers union lost it membership and the means to complain, as the standards set for public assurances become more corrupted. The business world moves towards governmental contracts for the financial assurances it brings, but at the same time control over operations is changing.
Governmental controls are only as good as the means to obtain rights under them and legislators can just as easily sell those rights as recognize them. The Bill of Rights was created because we needed to know what rights the public had before allowing authority over us. Assured of this need, we can only enforce these rights if we adjust our desires to meet the personal needs we have over time. Individuals adjust their lives not the collective directing this adjustment to meet some ideology’s survival. Congress is not known for the wisdom to allow this; it has only a collective perspective thus restricts individual's rights.
Regulating the private investment system is what the SEC is meant to do, yet both Congress and SEC authority are showing close connections. The economic fallout continues to show too are still close connections, with only tighter restrictions called for the public. Those in authority have not been restricted the same, instead they call for a Risk Council to compose taking more controls away. Private decision making once done by individuals, now operated by a government doing less and costing more each day. The truth resides in the hearts and minds of those representing the facts, but governmental programs contracted out do not allow proving facts only what business wants you to know.
The voters allow authority to have the means to make life simpler, but the laziness Congress is known for allows excuse to take away the same. Congress is a council and every council takes time to agree on actions, we know this will make the process even longer. The advantages we once had are not being found by those wanting more authority; instead it must be resolved by letting individuals make personal decisions. The fewer federal employees watching out for the public, the fewer corruptions we are told about. The only problem with federal employees is they are no longer trust the political ideology found in Washington….should we?
