Spherion, a Fort Lauderdale based staffing company reported that the confidence of working people has risen to its highest level since December 2007.
Spherion is a regular monitor of employee confidence and said the confidence index rose 3.2 points to 49.9 in August. The index measures workers' confidence in their personal employment situation and optimism in the economy, according to Roy Krause, CEO of Spherion.
