EMP Museum hosts 16th Annual Seattle Invitationals: Tribute to Elvis Presley

If you're an Elvis fan, head to the EMP Museum this weekend for the 16th Annual Seattle Invitationals. The amateur tribute contest and all-star revue is dedicated to Elvis Presley, and features Elvis impersonators doing their best imitation of the King. Nearly 30 Elvis impersonators are lined up to do their best hip gyrations, lip curls and sexy swoons.

Contestants will take on one of of Elvis' many personas: country boy, rockabilly superstar, G.I., Hollywood playboy, gospel singer or Vegas crooner. Each amateur impersonator performs one song, backed by the Kentucky Rain band. The show opens with the Graceland Five performing supercharged punk rock versions of Elvis' music plus surprise guests and emcee El Vez, The Mexican Elvis.
