Emmylou Harris brings her talents to the House of Blues in Boston, Sunday April 13th. Doors open at 7:00AM for the 8:00AM start.
The Wrecking Ball Tour includes Daneil Lanois, Steven Nistor, and Jim Wilson. Harris has been a 12-time Grammy award winner, with her latest release 'Old Yellow Moon' with Rodney Crowell receiving the 2014 Grammy Award for best Americana album.
The Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (VVAF) awarded Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris the Patrick J. Leahy Humanitarian Award for her tireless efforts to focus attention on the plight of landmine survivors worldwide. A longtime social activist, Ms. Harris also performs at an annual Nashville concert designed to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. She is also active in cultural preservation issues, notably the Country Music Foundation.
The Spring 2014 tour is in support of Emmylou's re-release of her 1995 'Wrecking Ball', and is being released as a 3-CD set.
