The article the accident involving Emmylou Harris occurred back in October, when she "allegedly" crashed "her rental into another car on the 405 freeway," then fled the scene. Emmylou Harris now has to face the consequences for her bad behavior. The Grammy-winning singer has been charged with the hit-and-run, and today her lawyer entered a plea of not-guilty on her behalf.
The other driver reported the accident saying Harris, 65, hit their car on October 1st around 10 p.m. then left. Emmylou's rep says the fender bender was a "garden-variety accident that happens every day on the 405," adding Harris left only because she did not realize she had hit another car. The car accident could lead to Emmylou Harris spending up to six months in jail, if convicted.
