It's luxurious. It's stylish. It's oh so fashionable! And it's one of the places where many Hollywood celebrities stopped through on Sunday evening as they were enjoying the 65th Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theater in Los Angles.
We're talking about the official Giving Suite produced by Backstage Creations and designed by HGTV Design Star Josh Johnson. "It’s really lavish and it’s so nice!" said Alix Mayer from Backstage Creations.
The Giving Suite provides a relaxing and posh environment where celebrities can enjoy some downtime backstage during the awards ceremony. And many celebrities such as Michael Douglas, Matt Damon, Neil Patrick Harris, Blair Underwood and others took advantage of the opportunity to not only unwind but to check out the array of luxury goods that filled the lounge. "If I were a star, I would love to get gifted by everything here." said Mayer.
Some of the brands showcasing their goods ranged from Couture by WETSTYLE, who manufactures high-end bath furnishings, to Waltzing Matilda Swag, who hand makes American leather bags and Whitening Lightning, who offers a 20-minute teeth whitening system. "To be a part of the Emmys is an honor and a privilege. I’m just super excited." said the owner of Whitening Lightning.
Mandy Moore, who choreographed for the Emmys and was nominated for So You Think You Can Dance, was blown away by the Giving Suite. "It’s incredible. Are you kidding me?" remarked Moore. "Really beautiful stuff and everyone has been really incredible here."
For every celebrity that stopped by the Giving Suite, $3,000 was donated on their behalf to the Television Academy Foundation.
