New York, NY (February 16 , 2013) – Stars from Film and Television, Broadway and the Web will come together on February 19 th at ISA4: the 4th Annual Indie Series Awards to celebrate and honor the very best of the rapidly-growing genre. The star-studded awards ceremony will be held at New World Stages( http://newworldstages.com/ ) in New York City with red carpet arrivals beginning at 6:00 pm.
Over 40 web series received at least one nomination. Almost 100 were submitted. To be considered, shows had to be independent, scripted, professional and serialized. They had to broadcast at least three episodes in 2012.
Confirmed to attend are: Martha Byrne (As The World Turns), Sebastian La Cause (Days of Our Lives, Hustling) Vincent Pastore (The Sopranos, Adults Only, GH), Daphne Rubin Vega,(RENT, Wild Things, Le Miz), Cynthia Watros (LOST), Colleen Zenk (As The World Turns, Thurston), plus additional invited celebrities from Broadway, television and feature films. The Winners Circle is presented by Memeka/ designer Gustavo Cadile.
