Though the Emmy Awards have a start time of 5:00 PM PST, the arrivals and red carpet festivities start a couple of hours earlier. There will be Emmy coverage on E! beginning at 6 PM EST (3 PM PST). If you want to tune in even earlier, E! is having a "Modern Family" special at 4 PM EST (1 PM PST) followed by a "Countdown to the Red Carpet" at 5PM EST (2 PM PST) with Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne, and George Kotsiopoulos.
