The Primetime Emmy Awards 2013 on Sept. 22 has made betting for television types a fun-filled option. According to Bovada, "Breaking Bad"on AMC has 4 to 11 odds that this drama will win in this winning show's category with "Homeland" given 4 to 1 odds, and "Game of Thrones" given 9 to 1 odds.
Meanwhile, in the Best Comedy Series category, "Modern Family" is on track to win for the fourth time, with 1 to 2 odds. "The Big Bang Theory" was awarded 5 to 1 odds while "Louie" has been gifted 3 to 1 odds.
The latter program puts its star in the lead for the Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Indeed, Louis C.K. owns 4 to 7 odds while Jim Parson in his Sheldon Cooper role on "Big Bang Theory" is entitled to 21 to 10 odds.
For Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, look for Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer in "Veep" to potentially pick up the Emmy for 2013 as Bovada gives this funny lady 1 to 3 odds. At the same time, Tina Fey as Liz Lemon, a role that is no longer being played since "30 Rock" is no longer on the air, gets 4 to 1 odds.
And so, there you have some of the possibilities -- provided by a crystal ball and a well thought out betting sheet -- for which thespians and which shows will take home a Emmy Awards 2013 statue.
